The first thing you need to understand is aake poker is the process of folding. This is for the flop and nevermind the turn card. Once you get your aces, you are bet the lowest, not because you have aces, but because you want a lower card to appear on the turn, and therefore a lower expensive to call. The purpose of this is so that you can stay in the game and not play it all with a single bet. The other reason is because you don’t want to bet higher than the minimum when you have aces, since you’re most likely going to lose a coin flip over it.
The aces that are initially raised are the cost to call, therefore representing the amount that you will need to be in to to stay in the game. So it’s really irrelevant what cards you actually have in your hand. When the flop is dealt you are bidting against the other people at the table who have bet before you, and not against your hand.
Your position in the table is decided for the first time in this part of the game, so after having a look at the other players and the cards they’re each dealt, you take it upon yourself to place a bet. It is also a good idea to bet in relation to the blinds. So if you are in the small blind, it would be wise to raise in relation to the small blind, someone in the big blind may wish to call, providing they have better cards than you.
Once this is done, you are dealt a card face down, this is called a burn card, and you now need to match the card total in order to win the game. The victor is the player with the best hand which consists of a combination of five cards in the same column or sequence. The index, or the card series which matches the highest card is the victor. Again, in poker this may be a distinct possibility, depending on the variation of Dewavegas being played.
If you have matched three, you then have a chance of beating the dealer’s hand. However, a four-card match is not enough to win. In these cases, the first card placed down by the dealer is called the ‘burn card’, and the one after it is the ‘turn card’. Burn cards are cards that are no longer in the deck. In games such as ace deuce, to make the fourth card, you essentially need aces.
After the turn comes the river, when the card you wish comes down. More cards are dealt the further the game goes into the river, and the final card is, of course, the river. The winner then is the person who has the highest hand. The game is played with a 52-card deck. Some versions of five-card draw use a different set of cards, and some everyone uses a single deck of cards. Poker hand values are scores on a scale of 0 to 9. Full house (three of a kind) has the score of 6. A pair has the score of 2. Straight has the score of 3. Three of a kind, when scored, means three of the same card. If three Aces are scored, it would mean three of the same attribute.
It is possible to have five card hands. The highest hand gets the full house, the second highest gets the flush, and the third highest gets the straight flush. Royal Flush is the best hand in poker, but it is normally not possible.
