Freelancer: Your NDB’s Ups & Downs

At first our new garbage collection contractor IPM asked for several days to master the routes to normalize its operations.

Then IPM blamed the backlog that Dynamic Builders reportedly left behind, so its collection schedules remain irregular.

When complaints were aired that garbage in more areas remain uncollected, IPM said it has difficulty because it lacks trucks and personnel.

Now we heard from some applicants who went to IPM that the firm’s requirements are too many to comply with.

What’s the next alibi from IPM?

IPM should have studied everything before it tendered its bid!

Freelancer: Smart Net Drop Call Woes; IPM Trash Pick Up Probs

We are suggesting to Smart Communications engineers to check their system again.

We still experience frequent dropped call.

When calling and receiving on-network call - that’s between sister companies Smart, Sun, Talk N’ Text and PLDT, the call is cut off in the middle of conversation.

When we dial again, the same thing happens 90 percent of the time - and that is, if we don’t get that irritating “all lines are busy now” voice message, or the rapid busy signal tone.

No change even if we use the 3G or the 2G mode, or even on automatic 2G/3G setting.

Freelancer: No Need to Panic

Yesterday we were again disturbed by reports that Bacolod is among cities to be bomb next to Davao.

No other than veteran journalist Teddy Boy Locsin sent tweets on this allegation.

Well, no need to panic, just be vigilant and report immediately to authoritieis any suspicious individual or activity, just to be sure.

Freelancer: On Maganto’s TF Sans Killings; On Rockslides

Heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon (Habagat) for several days caused some rock slides and soil erosion in certain parts of the Don Salvador Benedicto-San Carlos eco-tourism trans link highway.

Motorists cruising through the short cut highway are being cautioned against falling debris and rolling rocks during heavy downpour.

Drivers must also watch out for trees and branches as monsoon winds are at times moderate to strong that wind gusts can bring down down trees and branches.
