Capitol Gets Hospital Equipment, Supplies From Rotary Club Australia

The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental received hospital equipment and supplies donated by the Rotary Club of Canterbury, Australia through its sister club, the Rotary Club of Bacolod North.

The donated items include hospital beds and mattresses, emergency trolleys, surgical microscopes, examination tables, bedside tables, I.V. poles, wheeled walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, filing cabinets, hospital linens, and assorted medical supplies, among others, which is estimated to have a total cost of P10 Million.

Those will be distributed to the different provincial government-run hospitals in Negros Occidental, to be facilitated by the Hospital Operations Department (HOD) headed by Dr. Leonardo Eusebio.

Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. is thankful to the donors and said that such donation is a big help to the hospitals and most especially to the patients in need.

Present in the turn over ceremony were Gov. Marañon, HOD Head Dr. Leo Eusebio, Provincial Health Office Head, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang, Dr. Eduardo Galon, and the officers of the Rotary Club of Bacolod North namely, Rene Locsin, Alan Nuega, Robert Cerrada, Mel Mabayag, and Alex Mirano.*(Capitol News)
