Skeletal Remains of 5-Yr.-Old Girl Found

Skeletal remains of a 5 year old girl reported missing August 13 was found inside a sugarcane field September 14 , at Sitio Kuyaoyao in Barangay Inolingan in Moises Padilla.

The skeletal remains were positively identified her parents through her clothes and shorts as that of Princess Padios, according to Senior Inspector Allan Reloj, Moises Padilla PNP chief.

The remains were found by a sugarcane cutter who informed the local barangay officials. Two big stones were found beside the girl’s remains, believing she was struck and her teeth were detached.

Reloj was told by the victim’s parents that the victim followed her mother who was about to do laundry in the deep well together with her other sister, but she lost track because she went through a wrong path to the deep well.

She was reported missing after that.

Police is eyeing persons of interest but refused to divulge as investigations on the case are still going on.* (Cyrus M. Garde)
