Gov. Marañon Signs Lease Agreement With Tenshinzan Farm

Negros Occ. Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and Takahiro Ishii, representative director of Tenshinzan Farm signed a Contract of Lease for Dairy Development Project, Wednesday.

The signing was held at the Governor’s Office in Bacolod City in the presence of Negros Occ. Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Renante Decena and Kozen Takemoto of Tenshinzan Farm.

As cited in the lease agreement, Tenshinzan Farm, a private corporation based in Japan, will lease a portion of the Negros First Ranch located at Brgy. Sta. Rosa, Municipality of Murcia and invest in a Dairy Development Project that will contribute to the food security and economic growth of the province.

Under the agreement, the Tenshinzan Farm will finance and undertake the construction and repair of the milking parlor and other facilities of the project.

It is also stated that the Provincial Veterinary Office is allowed to assist and render its manpower and technical support services as may be necessary in the management and operation of the project.*(Capitol News)
