8 Drug Suspects Nabbed in Buy Bust
Eight drug suspects including the Top 8 in San Carlos City’s drug watch list were arrested in a buy bust operation at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at San Juan Baybay, Barangay 6, in the city.
Superintendent Jacob Crisostomo, San Carlos PNP chief identified the No. 8 top most wanted in their watch list as Crisan Ibañez Cabalida, 34, married, resident of Purok Kalingling, Barangay 1, San Carlos.
Confiscated from him were five small sachets of suspected shabu; two big sachets of suspected shabu, four elongated open sachets with traces of shabu and seven open transparent plastic sachets with traces of shabu; P200 marked money, plastic container and plastic canister and P1,070 cash proceeds.
The confiscated shabu weighs about 2.5 grams with estimated market value of P25, 000.
Others arrested were Von Erick Bernaldez Labrador, 31, married, glass installer of Ylagan Street, Barangay 6; Jovencio Rico Setenta, 48, single, hair dresser of San Juan Baybay, Barangay 6; Renante Calarde Amaro, 23, single, of Araneta Street, Barangay 6; Jomar Flores Baydal, 34, married, construction worker of San Juan Baybay, Barangay 6; Mark Dave Cabison Casakit, 24, single, of Azcona Street, Barangay 3; Joel Paragsa Laguda, 31, single, of Hacienda San Jose, Barangay Guadalupe; and Annabelle Limos Georfo, 50, married of San Carlos Milling Company Incorporated compound in Barangay 1.
They were found in the house where Cabalida was arrested having pot session.
They are now detained facing charges in violation of RA 9165.*
