San Enrique Community Thanks LCC HS 1977

The Municipality of San Enrique thanks the High School Batch 1977 of La Consolacion College-Bacolod for choosing their community last Saturday, as the recipient for their Dental Mission and Fluoride Varnishing for kids five years old and younger alongside their Anti Rabies Vaccination campaign with the cooperation of the Provincial Health and Veterinary Offices.

Nilo Agudelo, President for LCC HS 1977, said this is the first outreach program in a municipality that they had tapped to collaborate with.

“We aim to pay it forward especially when we have the opportunity to do so,” Agudelo said.

He adds that the motivation to help the less fortunate with a group who has the same drive pushed LCC HS 1977 to collaborate with the Municipality of San Enrique, having attained to connect with 10 barangays.

The medical mission led by Drs. Teofil Vidamo and Stephen Uychiat under the Provincial Health Office and Dr. Joevy Tan for LCC HS batch 1977, achieved 170 dental cases of fluoride varnishing for kids, and 73 cases of tooth extractions.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Veterinary Office successfully immunized 46 dogs for their anti-rabies campaign. *(Kristine G. Alonso)
