The induction ceremony was held at the Conference Room of NOTF Building located in Gatuslao-San Sebastian Streets, Bacolod City. Theme was “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and the way.”

Mallorca, guest speaker and inducting officer in her inspirational message pointed out that the revival of NOTF is for the welfare of the teachers, beneficiaries and their families. She urged the newly inducted officers to adopt the 5 A’s: Acceptance of responsibilities and challenges, Appreciation; Action to do something new and agree to move forward; Adversity - how to respond to it; a test to the character of a person when given power which is prone to temptation which is very intoxicating.

No amount of support can compensate the loss of self-respect which is important and the value of integrity; A is for you to complete the Answer, to give your time, money and effort. We are here for the federation not to get but to give. There is something we can do and this is the beginning. Always trust the federation.”

Leo M. Managuit, President of NIRTFI in his acceptance speech said that “success is in our hands with your cooperation. The Officers, Board Members and their strong tandem with management and staff will reach our goals. From here, we could plot a course of action and our upcoming achievements for a couple of years. I believe all our dreams and aspirations for the federation are attainable if we work together. Teamwork, I believe would speak success.”

Former NOTF President, consultant and adviser Clemente Estampador believes that “good things are prepared for us and everyone has a purpose. With service and integrity, many things can be achieved for the federation.” Legal Consultant Atty. Dag Pandan also encouraged the teachers to show their worth as NITFI members, living in trust and confidence with fellow members. In rendering service, “you should act not for yourself but for all of us as team players.”

Dr. Danilo L. Esmane, outgoing President led the turn over of the Gavel of Authority to incoming President Leo M. Managuit, while Lighting of Candle of Goodwill was spearheaded by Camarista. Community Singing followed.
