Kabankalan City Mayor Isidro Zayco said that if he has his way, he would let Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. finish his last term.
BANNED. The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) is now working double time to ban the entry of pedicabs and tricycles, and to apprehend motorcycles with violations, from entering the city’s major streets. In their latest data, 153 tricycles, 178 trisikads and 17 motorcycles were apprehended by the office.* (CMO-PIO photo)

Zayco made the reaction after being pressed by media yesterday on his personal position on the possible decision of Love Negros (LN).
“I have no idea yet as the prime movers are Rep. Alfredo Benitez and Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson,” he said.
“Personally, I would want that everyone in Negros will be united so there would be a `peaceful co-existence’ in the province,” Zayco said.
Earlier, Board Member Renato Gustilo (1st dist.) also said that he prefers that LN will not field any candidate against the incumbent Marañon.
He added that he believes that the Vice Governor is having hard time in making a decision.
Meanwhile, the Mayor also thanked Marañon for announcing that his United Negros Alliance will not field any candidate against him.
Zayco also revealed that his vice mayor will be Board Member Raul Rivera.
Rep. Mercedes Alvarez and Board Members Pedro Zayco and Helen Zafra will also seek re-election in the 6th district, he also said.*
