Kabankalan City Mayor Isidro Zayco yesterday denied he is planning to run for governor next year, and even totally dismissed any possibility of him ever running for governor of Negros Occidental.
Zayco’s name has been tagged among possible Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC)-Love Negros bet for governor, against incumbent Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr., who is expected to run for re-election for his last term.
“I am not running and I will not run for governor in the 2016 elections and even in the coming elections after that,” Zayco said.
