Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) recently reiterated its one strike policy against those police heads who fail to conduct intensified effort in the fight against illegal gambling in their respective areas of responsibility and to submit a certification today.
PCSupt. Agrimero Cruz, PRO6 director again reminded police officers to intensify the campaign against all forms of illegal gambling and that the one strike policy is still in effect.
Police Chief Supt. Agrimero A. Cruz, Jr., assumed the post as regional director of the Police Regional office 6 in Iloilo City, succeeding Chief Supt. Cipriano E. Querol, Jr., who will be promoted to a higher rank and handle a higher post in the Philippine National Police (PNP).

He said he will always see to it that PRO 6 will have its share in the budget for its recruitment program, as well as additional budget for procurement of equipment like firearms and ammunitions to be issued to the more than 1,000 new police recruits in the region.
The regional director of Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) based in Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City covering Western Visayas, will be leaving the top post of the Philippine National Police in the region early next month.
Querol, in a recent interview over Bombo Radyo Philippines based in Iloilo, said he would be transferring to the national headquarters of the PNP in Camp Crame as a sort of promotion to the rank of a two-star general.
The PRO-6 top brass in the region, however, declined to mention his specific post at the higher hierarchy of the PNP in Camp Crame.

The reassignment of PNP Region VI, CO, Chief Supt. Cipriano Querol Jr. has been confirmed by the region’s topranking officer himself in announcement, to the Iloilo City media community, the early morning GMA Television Program which is seen in Bacolod City, said yesterday morning.
His reassignment is due to take effect July 15, added the highest-ranking police officer in the region. It is because many senior police officers are retiring and that a reshuffle is being carried out. The reshuffling could mean, they are being promoted to a higher position, added Querol.

An intelligence officer of any city/provincial police office will be relieved from his post after six (6) unsolved robbery/crime incidents in his area of responsibility.
This directive from PRO 6 director Police chief Supt.Cipriano Querol, Jr was issued to unit commanders, to utilize efficiently their Quad Staff and to make them liable/ accountable for any crime incident that might occur in their respective area of jurisdiction due to incompetence and negligence of duty.
