CENECO Gives Computers to Cansilayan HS

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) in cooperation with Aboitiz Power Corporation and Aboitiz Foundation turned over 10 computer units to Department of Education (DepEd) Cansilayan National High School (CNHS) on October 15, 2015, Thursday at Purok Litik, Brgy. Cansilayan, Murcia.


Murcia Mayor Andrew Montelibano, CENECO Distrcit VII Director Dwight A. Carbon and Aboitiz Senior Account Officer Roy M. Renconada ceremoniously cutting the ribbon of the room allotted for the donated computer units.*

Education Program Supervisor Dannie Clark M. Uguil and CNHS Principal Margie E. Sta. Ana accepted the computer units in behalf of the school and emphasized the big help the computers will bring in the students’ learning.

Municipality of Murcia Mayor Andrew Montelibano encouraged the students to make good of the donated equipment and use them in order to thrive in their studies.

Kenneth Manzano, Corporate Social Responsibilty Officer for Aboitiz Power stated that this is an ongoing project and that CNHS is only one of its several recipients.

The 10 computer units consisted of 10 thin client computer system with 4-in-1 printer and 10 computer tables and chairs.

As a sign of gratitude for choosing CNHS as the beneficiary, CENECO District VII – Municipalities of Murcia and Salvador Benedicto Director Dwight A. Carbon, accepted the plaque of appreciation in behalf of CENECO and pledged its commitment in aiding the community, while Institutional Services Department Manager Lolita L. Jayme gave the closing remarks of the program.*
