AA Electrical Improves Standing in D-League

The AA Electrical-Orange played huge in their 67-58 win over POC in the ongoing D-League Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.

Enok Villasor fired 8 points to spark Orange in a comfortable 18-7 edge in the opening quarter as Marniel Toleco and George delos Reyes scored for 4 points each.

JP Peornato and Klint Quires combined for 9 points as they successfully protected Orange’s lead at the break, 32-20 even as Dave Docto hit 7 points for POC.

However, Edgar Villaester and Paul Cruz hit 6 and 5 points as POC got their momentum in the third and cut the lead to 5 points going into the final quarter, 42-37.

But, Peornato delivered 9 points in the playoff as Joshua Abaring added 6 markers to keep POC at bay while Villaester has 9 points in POC losing effort.

Peornato paced Orange with 14 points as Villaser added 10 points while Dave Andog and Abaring contributed 9 points each.

Meanwhile, Villaester led POC with 15 points, all in the second half, while Dave Docto added 10 points as Emman Go and Jude Billones connected 7 points each.
