DFA-Bacolod to Provide Courtesy Lane for Marawi-deployed Soldiers
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)-Bacolod, headed by its OIC Carolina Constantino, will be providing a courtesy lane facility for Marawi-deployed soldiers and police officers to facilitate processing of their passports.
In such case, no online appointment is required from the said applicants.
This is in relation to President Rodrigo Duterte’s grant of an all-expense paid trip to Hong Kong to soldiers and police officers who were deployed in Marawi; it is a reward for them for getting the job done.
According to national news, the president made the promise when he visited Marawi City to boost the morale and check the situation of soldiers involved in combat operations against Maute terrorists.
Just recently, the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental held a Heroes’ Welcome to honor the Negrense soldiers who fought the terrorists in Marawi City.*(Capitol News)
