Ceres Settles For a 2-All Draw Against JPV

The unavailability of lights at Binan Stadium in Laguna last night has prevented both teams to continue the match and settled to a 2-all draw with 10 minutes left in the clock.

The game was originally scheduled at Rizal Memorial Stadium but PFL later decided to move it to the Stallion Laguna FC home pitch.

JPV was down to 10-men after midfielder John Celiz was slapped with a straight red card before the end of the first half and Ceres Negros FC was cut to nine men due to injuries.

Fernando Rodriguez opened the Busmen’s scoring in the 25th minute inside the box following a Patrick Reichelt chase down in the right flank.

However, Kouichi Belgira latches on the rebound and skipped past the defense for the equalizer in the 29th minute but, Bienvenido Maranon redirected a long range free kick from Omid Nazari in the 34th minute to put the Busmen back on top, 2-1 at the half.

In the second half, Ali Mahmoud successfully beat keeper Michael Casas inside off a cross from Belgira.

Ceres Negros FC will move North of Luzon to face Ilocos United FC on November 18 and 21.*
