Drivers of a tricycle and motorcycle were rushed to a hospital in Victorias City after their vehicles crashed about 2PM, Monday between Kilometers 34-35 along Osmeña Avenue in the City.

Traffic report disclose a red-colored Rusi tricycle driven by Nicolas Villas, 66, of Hacienda Editha, Brgy. 21 was accidentally bumped by a Euro GTX 150 motorcycle driven by Jikky Boy Gonzales, 35, of Brgy. 7.

Cops File Gun Raps vs. Talisay Man

Criminal charges for illegal possession of gun and ammunitions is to be filed against a resident of Talisay City after he was complaint to be carrying the firearm, Monday morning.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) reports revealed that a case for violation of Republic Act (RA) 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunitions will be filed against Roberto Salanatin alias Tata, 27, of Hacienda Bantud, Brgy. Concepcion in Talisay City.

4YO Girl Run Over

A 4-year old girl was declared dead in Sagay City after she was reportedly ran over by a tractor, Friday morning.

Traffic police reported that a farm tractor owned by Mardal Corporation driven by Uldarico Bayta, 54, of Purok Maalwan, Brgy. Makiling, Sagay City accidentally ran over Angel Mae Bordan, of Sitio Palanas, Brgy. Rizal.

The incident happened inside the compound of Mardal Corporation at Sitio Palanas in Brgy. Rizal.

She was rushed to a hospital facility in the city but was declared dead by attending physician.

La Carlota Cop Raids ‘Drug Den’

A drug den was raided by police operatives in La Carlota City, Friday afternoon and arrested the suspected owner and a user at Gan Subdivision, Brgy. II Poblacion.

PCInsp. Gary Alan Resuma and his team effected the search at the house of Jeffrey Otero, 24, through warrant number 96-2014 issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 Judge Pepito B. Sellado.

A sack containing hundreds of live ammunition was endorsed to local police authorities early this week in Silay City.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) records showed that 900 pieces of caliber .9mm live ammunitions were found at St. Francis Shrine Subdivision, Brgy. 4 following the report from a concerned citizen.
