Local News: Vintage Bombs Disposed in Neg. Occ.
About 50 kilos of various vintage bombs were disposed recently by operatives led by Negros Occidental Provincial Public Safety Company (NOPPSC) and Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team at Brgy. Pinocotan, Calatrava town.
PSupt. Armando R. Tubongbanua, NOPPSC commander with PInsp. Paulino S. Sandrino Jr., deputy platoon leader led the disposal of 30-50 kilos of different kinds of vintage bombs recovered and seized that resulted from the intensified campaign against illegal possession of such items.

A 75-year old man in Kabankalan City suspect in the hacking of his neighbors is being hunted by local police authorities.
PO2 Euneil M. Valente, officer-on-case reported that Emocrito Parlotsa, of Purok Bi-ao, Brgy. Oringao fled after allegedly hacking Joeren Gonzales, 23, and Joener Yu, 26, both of the same place about 10:05 a.m., Friday.

A Bagoeño was apprehended by elements of local police authorities for charges of murder, recently.
SPO2 Ramon Garalda with PO2’s Glenn Bulaoro and Ruben Jen Tamon collared Enrique Tauson alias Enrique Tyson, 31, of Brgy. Dulao, Bago City through an order issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 62 Judge Henry Trocino for murder charges.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

PSSupt. Ricardo T. De la Paz, Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) director reported that the suspect was identified as Alan Baticados, 22, of Brgy. 6, who sustained a gunshot wound on the right knee after a shootout with policemen of Police Station 7 (PS7) led by PCInsp. Levy Pangue.
Local News: Haciendero’s Tractor Set On Fire for Failure to Pay Tax
A tractor owned by a haciendero in Hacienda Josefina, Brgy. 21, Victorias City was reportedly set on fire by alleged members of the New People’s Army (NPA) about 7:30 p.m., Friday.
Police reports revealed that an undetermined number of armed men alleged to be NPA members Army approached Joselito Alpanza and introduced themselves as members of the said group and asked for Alpanza, who is administrator of the hacienda owned by Jose Maria Valentin Garcia.

An unidentified man in Kabankalan City was shot dead about 1:30 a.m., Saturday in front of Action Bar and Restaurant by the establish-ment’s security guard.
PO2 Euneil M. Valente, officer-on-case reported that Security Guard Rodney Gavile, 31, of Brgy. Buena-vista, Himamaylan City and a guard assigned at the said establishment turned himself in to local police authorities along with his service firearm, after he fired at the man who earlier fired towards the direction of the restaurant.

Local News: Farmer Shoots Another in Squabbles
Local police authorities in Calatrava town are on the lookout for a farmer who allegedly shot another dead, Monday morning.
Police report said Ian Pabalate, 37, of Brgy. Winas-wasan, Calatrava succumbed to a single gunshot wound on the left shoulder allegedly inflicted by alias Boboy Ulga-san, 19, also of the same place due to a misunderstanding.
