5 Men Fall for Drugs; Face Raps

Five men in Bacolod City were arrested in three different drug raids led by the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) and seized several suspected shabu early this week.

PSInsp. Stephen Boniba, CAIDSOTG chief under the supervision of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) head PSSupt. Melchor Coronel arrested Migue Tarog, Ringo Ragomeo, Noel Mahusay, Martin Montecillo and Kemuel Soriba in three different operations.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group led the raids that resulted to the arrest of peddlers in two separate operations in Pontevedra and Valladolid towns, Friday.

MC Rider Gunned Down

Unidentified motorcycle rider was reportedly gunned down about 10:30PM, Wednesday near the Overflow at Brgy. Yubo in La Carlota City.

Investigation revealed Brgy. Tanod Ruben Nonaellada who resided near his place heard a motorcycle speeding up and then a series of gunfire. He then related the shooting to village head Dennis Valencia and with five other barangay tanods verified the incident.
