Ayalin was immediately detained at Silay PNP jail with maximum security.

Ayalin arrives with police-escorts from Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) intelligence unit sent by Provincial PNP Director PSSupt Milko Lirazan about 5:30PM Saturday at the Silay-Bacolod Airport.

He looked haggard and was mum even when he was asked by the local media.

Silaynons swarmed the city police station , as they went to see a glimpse of Ayalin but were prevented Silay cops, augmented by the Regional Public Safety Battalion to secure the place.

Silay Police Chief, Supt Jacob Crisostomo appealed to family members of individuals Ayalin killed, to let the law takes it course.

Armando Occeña, father of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman Aime who was among massacre victims of Ayalin, said he will respect the law.

He said he would have killed Ayalin when he saw him in Iba, Zambales Thursday afternoon, but he calmed down.

"Even if he will be jailed many times, he can’t repay the life of my daughter he has taken. I will have to move on now that he is already detained", he added.

Ayalin will be brought to court today for his commitment order to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

The families of those he killed can finally get justice, said Provincial PNP chief, Sr. Supt. Milko Lirazan.

He is facing nine charges for murder and frustrated murder at the Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Silay.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Ayalin was hiding in Iba since 2011 where his wife has cousins there.

An informant, who came from Silay and residing in Iba took video of him and brought it to Celebre who positively identified Ayalin who was tending "buko juice" in Iba.

Third district Congressman Alfredo Abelardo "Albee" Benitez was also receiving intelligence report of Ayalin’s whereabouts and provided Celebre and Occeña security escort and transportation to arrest Ayalin.

They coordinated with Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office headed by SSupt Crizaldo Nierves who sent his intelligence unit led by Supt Andrew Aguirre and two non-commissioned officers in Iba, Zambales to effect the arrest.

Lirazan said the informant will soon be given the reward raised for any information that could lead to Ayalin’s arrest.
