Senator Grace Poe to Address 5th BLT Negros Summit July 1
The Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT), a public-private partnership school feeding program will hold its 5th BLT Negros Summit on July 1 with Senator Grace Poe-LLamanzares and Education USEC Mario Derequito as keynote speakers.

Rhoderick K. Samonte, director of the Institute for Negros Development (IND) said the BLT Summit will be held at the Santuario de La Salle, USLS in Bacolod City.
He said BLT will be implemented in 115 public elementary schools in 23 cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental this academic year 2014-2015.
Samonte said they expect 200 partners from the media, private groups, various stakeholders and the university community to attend the July 1 Summit.
Other speakers will include Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr., Talisay Mayor Eric Saratan, M.D., Belen O. Rillo of Jollibee Foundation and Br. Raymundo Suplido, FSC, USLS President and Chancellor.
The 5th BLT Negros Summit, according to Director Samonte is a major event of the Handumanan Week on June 30–July 5, 2014 on the 62nd year of the USLS mission of "transforming lives, building communities and shaping futures" through education in Negros Occidental.*
