Ayalin Informant is Richer by 800K

The informant who leaked the whereabouts of fugitive Noel Ayalin’s may claim the reward of P800, 000 soon, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office OIC Provincial Director SSupt. Milko Lirazan disclosed.

The informant may claim the reward after Lirazan issued a certification.

The informant’s identity is being withheld by police authorities.

Enrique Pinongan, Provincial Administrator, also disclosed the check is now being processed by the Treasurer’s Office.

The Provincial Government set aside P500, 000 for Ayalin’s capture but it was raised to P800, 000 after Silay City government also approved a separate reward of P300, 000.

Ayalin was a former village chief of Brgy. Kapitan Ramon in Silay City and was arrested May 15, 2014 in Iba, Zambales selling "buko juice" after three years.

He was accused of killing Kagawad members Luzviminda Cotamen, Pedrito Orocio, Freddie Juño, and Youth Council chairperson 16-year-old Aimee Occeña last March 6, 2011.

He also wounded several others, including incumbent Barangay Captain Ramon Celebre.

He pleaded guilty to the charges of two attempted homicide at the Municipal Trial Court in Cities on May 26 at the Hall of Justice in Silay City.

The Regional Trail Court Branch 69, under Judge Felipe Banzon deferred the arraignment of Ayalin to June 9 on 3 counts of direct assault with murder and four qualified frustrated murder.

Ayalin is detained at Bacolod City District Jail Special Intensive Care Area (SICA).* (CMGarde)
