NOHS/KMH Climbs at No.1 in Inter-School Duckpin Opener

The NOHS/Kami Mga Hubin team climbed at No.1 after knocking down the best team output of the night during the 5th Inter-School Alumni Bowlfest 2017 game opener at Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City on Sunday.

NOHS/KMH toppled 1,561 pin falls to set the highest team triple of the bowling festival. The team’s three game scores were 508, 526, 527.

Crew captain Rovigervien “Toto” Flores of NOHS/KMH led the scoring ball with 327 pfs followed by teammates young gun Raymund “Toti” Galvan with 229, powerhouse duckpinner Michael “Mike” Corral with 227, and lady bowler Gladys “Kim” Leonardo with 220.

Other members are Katz Deocadiz, Jim Toga, Jom Sevilla, and Jolz Pabon.

Defending champion and running 2nd DLNHS D’Bounty Strikers stayed at striking distance with 1,530; while running 3rd NOHS Unpredictabowls managed to gather 1,462 in a 4-bowler lineup.

Rounding up the squad scores in round 1: BCHS Conquerors - 1,458; NOHS Tunkers - 1,450; BCHS Warriors - 1,445; BCHS Lucky Strikers - 1,441; BCHS Bowlcoholics & NOHS Super Batchoy - 1,431; DLNHS Mixers & NOHS Strikers - 1,428; NOHS 89ers - 1,427; NOHS/Davies Pin Busters - 1,424; Tay Tung - 1,423; BCHS Tigers - 1,393; NOHS Lane Busters - 1,388; SJS-LS Shieldz - 1,355; BCHS Avengers - 1,298; and BCHS Golden Stars - 1,218.

This annual mixed 5-man duckpin bowlfest is participated by five alumni high schools - Negros Occidental HS, Bacolod City National HS/Bacolod City HS, Domingo Lacson National HS, Bacolod Tay Tung HS, and St. Joseph School-La Salle.
