Police to Determine if Drug Suspect is a Minor
Police operatives who arrested a drug pusher in Purok Gonzaga, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City on Tuesday evening, who is allegedly a minor, will be determined of his real identity.
This was disclosed by Inspector Adrian James Albaytar, head of Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit.
The suspect, Faizal Tantua Sacar, 17, married, resident of Islamic Community of Barangay 30, was arrested with four big heat sealed and one elongated sachets of suspected shabu worth P 200, 000.
Also recovered from him were; one unit White Toyota Vios Sedan 2014 model with plate number WQL-514
He was arrested after handing a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer in exchange of P500 marked money. Police said he is the number 1 drug personality in Police Station 6.
Police urged his family to produce his authentic birth certificate if he is really a minor.
The suspect said he is married and has a 9-month old child.
In an interview, the suspect said that they have a cellphone shop at Libertad Public market and that he is pushing illegal drugs for one year already. He denied being a drug user.
Albaytar turned him over to Police Station 6 while determining his real birth certificate. If he is minor, he will be turned over to WCPD which will turn him over to the Department of Social Services and Development.*
