TMC Season 4: Lopue Lifts Game to Stay on Top

OJ Lopue raised the ante to remain at No.1 on the fourth playdate in the ongoing Tenpin Masters Challenge (TMC) Season Four July qualifyiers at Lopue’s East Bowling Center (LEBC), Villamonte in Bacolod City.

Lopue registered the highest qualifying set of 660 pin falls on July 13, while his next best score was 597 on July 6 including a plus 5 handicap points per game.

The powerhouse bowler recently dominated last season’s Grandmaster Showdown and took home the Bowler of the Year title.

CCompleting the current top 10 qualifiers: Lopue - 1,257; Jasper Quimanhan - 1,213; Toto Ong - 1,210; Herman Santos - 1,163; Paco Collantes - 1,150; Tol De Asis - 1,142; Dr Larnie Vencer - 1,135; Gildo Ang - 1,120; Dwight Somcio - 1,119; and Joemil Villarosa - 1,119. The top rank bowler will be given a special prize.

The oiling pattern used for this month is the one that was used for the Tournament of Champions which was LEBC Pattern #4. This pattern has a buff area of 35 feet and mixed oil up to 29 feet.

The qualifying playdates resumes tomorrow at 8PM.

Top ten qualifiers will play in the Masters Event for a 5-game elimination round on July 27. Prizes are up to Top five but only the Top four will advance to the Shoot-Out Finale.

TThis bowling event is organized by the officers of Sugarbowl Tenpin Association, Inc. played every Tuesdays and Thursdays.
