DENR CENRO Bago Land Patent Distribution Program in Murcia
Community of Environment Natural Resources Office (CENRO)- Bago City issues 25 Special Land Patent to the Municipality of Murcia, Negros Occidental represented by Murcia Mayor Andrew L. Montelibano and 26 Residential Free Patent to the rightful claimants of Brgy. Amayco of the same Municipality.

The 21 Special Land Patents includes areas utilized by the government, such as Day Care Center, Barangay Hall, Public Market, Public Plaza, among others in the Barangays of Cansilayan, Buenavista, Zone 2, Zone 3, Amayco and Alegria. The total land area covered by these 21 Special Patents is 47, 921 square meters. While three Special Land Patents were issued to the Department of Education covering the school sites of Cansilayan Elementary School, Buenavista Elementary School, and Amayco Elementray School which has a total area of 24,526 square meters.
These issued Special Land Patents shall be transmitted to Provincial Registry of Deeds for registration and issuance of a Certificate of Title in the name of the said government agencies and residents.
This initiative by the DENR–CENRO Bago City is pursuant to Section 4 of Republic Act 10023 approved on March 9, 2010 which aims to uplift the present socio-economic status of the people by granting them a lifetime ownership of their occupied land.*
