TMC Season 4: Lopue Leads July Qualifiers

Bowler of the Year champion OJ Lopue led the July qualifiers on the second playdate in the ongoing Tenpin Masters Challenge (TMC) Season

Four at Lopue’s East Bowling Center, Villamonte in Bacolod City.

Lopue showed no signs of slowing down as he toppled a two-set qualifying score of 1,193 pin falls on two separate occassions. His first try was 596 on July 4 and he got 597 on his second try on July 6. The powerhouse tenpinner has a plus 5 handicap points per game.

Rounding up the current top 15 qualifers: Paco Collantes - 1,150; Jasper Quimanhan - 1,145; Tol De Asis - 1,142; Dr Tony Vasquez - 1,103; Gildo Ang - 1,092; Toto Ong - 1,089; Herman Santos - 1,087; Dr Larnie Vencer - 1,067; Helson Rosales - 1,057; Engr Ariel Yelo - 1,052; Raymund Livioco - 1,051; Dwight Somcio - 1,046; Leoner Ynzon - 1,033; and Richel Gumban - 1,030. The top rank bowler will be given a special prize.

The qualifying games for this month resumes tonight at 8PM.

Top fifteen qualifiers will play in the Masters Event for a 5-game elimination round on July 27. Prizes are up to Top five but only the Top four will advance to the Shoot-Out Finale.

This bowling event is organized by the officers of Sugarbowl Tenpin Association, Inc. played every Tuesdays and Thursdays.
