Guv Signs MOA with OISCA, Students for Japanese Language Training

Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and Shigemi Watanabe of the OISCA-Bago Training Center together with the 24 student-grantees yesterday signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Japanese Language Proficiency “Study Now, Pay Later” Program of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental.

The said program is spearheaded by the Negros Occ. Scholarship Program headed by Karen Dinsay.

It is aimed at giving training to qualified caregivers and other skilled workers on Japanese Language and Culture with the objective of providing them employment opportunities in Japan.

The scholars will undergo a four-month live-in extensive training on Japanese Language and Culture at OISCA-Bago Training Center.

Gov. Marañon told the scholars to take the course with diligence in order to succeed. He also advised them to always pray and thank God for this opportunity.
