BCPL/BCT-11 to take oath today

The Basic Computer Training-Batch 11 (BCT-11), a project offered by the Bacolod City and Public Library ( BCPL) for free to the public, will hold an

induction of BCT- B11 officers today, February 14, 2018 at BCPL Hall at Araneta-Hernaez Sts. in this city, according to BCT instructress Remia A. Quebrar, RL.

Quebrar is a member of eleven-strong Board Members of Association of Registered Librarians in the Public Sector (ALPS) comprising of 1,157 libraries in the Philippines.

On the other hand, Evelyn Casiano and Ronico Despabeladero, president and vice president respectively, will take their oath together with other officers, namely: Secretary Margie Cango, Treasurer Mercy Medel, Asst. Treasurer Lian Cola, Auditor Benjie Tupas, Business Manager Custodio Republica, P.I.O. Effie Macasa and Muse Angelina Serantes. Board members are Lilian Malunes, Jamina Escorial, Nenita Villegas and Vicky Ariola.

Casiano is retired secondary principal at Bata National High School in Bacolod City with 36 years in public service.

BCPL is headed by Ms. Greta Memoria, RL, as librarian.*
