Cops nab drug suspects in Himamaylan, Silay, Binalbagan

Three drug suspects were arrested Wednesday in Himamaylan and Silay cities and town of Binalbagan.

Police identified the suspects as Jessie John Limsiaco Zamora, 21, “Alias Daboy,” of Tayom Street, Barangay 4, Kabankalan City; Yruz Perlado Hechanova, 21, of Freedom Boulevard, Barangay Mambulac, Silay and Alcher John Tinasas Miranda, 23, “Alias Toytoy,” single, of Barangay San Teodoro, Binalbagan.

Zamora was arrested in Sitio Riles Naga, Barangay Su-ay, Himamaylan around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday by policemen led by Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez, Jr.

The suspect was arrested along with two companions, his live-in partner Jorelyn Ramos y Baylon, 19, of Sitio Cagay, Barangay Su-ay and a drug surrenderee, Jovert Molina Medecillo, 23, single, of Tayom Street, Barangay 4, Kabankalan who accompanied the suspect.

The three were riding on a single Yamaha Mio motorcycle when arrested and tried to evade arrest causing injuries on them.

Confiscated from the suspects were two small heat sealed “shabu” including a buy bust item in exchange for P500 marked money; P13, 300 proceeds from selling prohibited drugs; and the motorcycle.

Hechanova was arrested by Silay police led by Superintendent Noel Polines around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at Centerville Subdivision in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay.

Confiscated from him were two elongated sachets “shabu” and one Kawasaki DT motorcycle.

Miranda, on the other hand, was arested by Binalbagan police led by Chief Inspector Albert Sy around 1:30 a.m. yesterday, February 1, in Barangay San Vicente, Binalbagan. Seized from him were two elongated sachets “shabu” including the buy bust item in exchange for P200 buy bust money and one Nokia cellphone.
