3 Nabbed for drugs in Sagay, Silay
Three alleged drug suspects were arrested in Sagay and Silay Cities recently.
In Sagay, Police Chief Inspector Robert Mansueto, Sagay OIC police chief identified the suspects as Ernie Ebag Sibay, 38; “Alias Kaning,” married, of St. Michael, Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City, Negros Occidental; and Geovannie Ebag Simbahon, 40, married, “Alias Yayan” of Sitio Kinalumsan, Barangay Poblacion 1, in Sagay.
The two were charged and arrested for the crime of violating Section 11; Article II of RA 9165 with bail fixed at P 200,000.00; and for violation of Section 12, Article II of RA 9165 that recommended P40, 000 bail bond for each of them.
Simbahon, on the other hand, is facing another violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Reginald M. Fuentebella, Executive Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch-73 in Sagay issued their arrest warrants dated September 28, 2017.
The suspects are detained for failure to post bail.
In Silay City, police authorities led by Police Superintendent Noel Polines, OIC police chief arrested Ryan Casumpang Sarahina, 22, single, “Alias Ryan” of Villa Carmen Subdivision, Barangay 5, Silay.
He was charged in violation of Section 11 of Article ll of RA 9165 and arrested by police on the strength of arrest warrant issued by Judge Ana Bernad of Regional Trial Court, Branch-69 in Silay City dated December 12, 2017.
The court recommended P200, 000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.*
