The unavailability of lights at Binan Stadium in Laguna last night has prevented both teams to continue the match and settled to a 2-all draw with 10 minutes left in the clock.

The game was originally scheduled at Rizal Memorial Stadium but PFL later decided to move it to the Stallion Laguna FC home pitch.

JPV was down to 10-men after midfielder John Celiz was slapped with a straight red card before the end of the first half and Ceres Negros FC was cut to nine men due to injuries.

DILG Provincial Director Ma Joy Maredith R. Madayag congratulates the province of Negros Occidental together with four (4) cities and five (5) municipalities for passing the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance.

The official results released yesterday by the Bureau of Local Government Supervision showed that the cities of Bago, Sagay, San Carlos, and Silay as well as the municipalities of Candoni, Don Salvador Benedicto, Hinobaan, Pontevedra and Valladolid passed the assessment.

The awarding ceremonies will be on November 27, 2017 at the PICC in Manila.

A resident of Bago City was arrested with firearm in Hacienda Bubog, Barangay Bubog, Talisay City, Negros Occ. around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Talisay City PNP led by Senior Inspector Joseth Catonina, Deputy police chief of Talisay City PNP led his men to arrest Beethoven Pascual Badian, 43, married, of Barangay Lag-asan, Bago.

He was in the hacienda to get cash card from Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and posed as member of DSWD.

A former leader of Purok Mahogany in Sitio Abtao, Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City was shot dead in front of a store in the place around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Superintendent Rhea Santos, Kabankalan PNP chief identified the victim as Webby Tribunal Argabio, 51, married “Alias Dokdok,” resident of the place.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was brought to Lorenzo Zayco Memorial District Hospital in Kabankalan, but was declared dead on arrival.

A 3-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital in Bacolod City after she was bumped by a Ceres bus at Hacienda Hanoban 1, Barangay Sag-ang, La Castellana town, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

La Castellana police identified the victim as Bernaline Oliveros Buluron, resident of the said place. She suddently crossed the road.

She sustained injuries and was rescued by the town’s MDRRMC and brought to the Municipal Health Clinic.

She was later transferred to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio ‘Bong’ Lacson said in a radio interview yesterday, that he sees no reason for President Rodrigo Duterte to declare a revolutionary government. This was based on the earlier statement of the President that he might declare a revolutionary government.

Maybe this is the strategy of the President to counter those who plan to overthrow his leadership, the Vice Governor said.

“Hence, let Congress go ahead in their discussion about federalism,” he said.
