A father killed his son around 8:20 p.m. last July 28, 2017 in Sitio Lodgoron, Barangay Anibong, Ayungon, Negros Oriental, police belated report disclosed.
The victim was identified as Ariel Salimbagat Silvano, 30, fisherman, resident of the place.
He sustained injuries on his face and fell unconscious and was rushed to Bindoy District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Police identified the suspect, his father, also a fisherman, as Macario Silvano y Apostol, 60, married, also of the place.
A young person was shot dead inside the Midtown Public Market in Barangay Mabigo, Canlaon City, Negros Occidental around 12:15 a.m. yesterday, August 2.
Police identified the vicim as Rodel Pologon Laparan, 20 years old, single, of Angas 1, Barangay Mabigo, Canlaon City.
He sustained gunshot wounds on his right abdomen and was rushed by bystanders to Canlaon District Hospital but died later.
Three wanted persons were arrested by joint elements of Cadiz Intelligence operatives; the 1st Maneuver Company of the Regional Public Safety Battalion-18 in Villa Luisa Relocation Site, Barangay Luna around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A 24-year-old was found hanging inside his room in Purok Ilaya, Barangay Cabug, Bacolod City around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police identifed the victim as Ricky Isulat Bartolome, 24, single, resident of the place.
He was discovered by his brother Rene, who allegedly saw his brother roaming around their residence about 11:00 a.m. until he went upstairs to fold his clothes.
At about 12:30 p.m., he heard the voice of his brother Ricardo, asking Ricky “Na ano ka Nong?” upon discovering the victim hanged himself.
One was killed and the other was wounded after they were shot by riding-in-tandem in Purok Orchids, Barangay Malaiba, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.
Police identified the victim as Marjun Sabio, 29.
He sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of the body.
Wounded was identified as Eleuterio Gicale, 29, all of the same place.
Police said the suspects were unidentified as they were wearing bonnets. They immediately sped off. They recovered 15 empty shells of .45 caliber at the crime scene.
