Fleeing Drug Suspect Arrested

A drug suspect was arrested by Police Station 2 after a brief chase in Bacolod City Monday evening.

Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, Police Station 2 chief identified the suspect as Jeffrey John Alvior, 27, of Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City.

Villarias said they conducted a buy bust operation against the suspect in Barangay 2, but he managed to escape. Police operatives, however cornered him at BS Aquino Drive.

Confiscated from him were one big, one small and one elongated sachets of suspected shabu worth about P26, 000.

He is detained at Police Station 2.

A separate buy bust operation was also conducted by Police Station 2 in Purok Lubi, Barangay 3, Bacolod City about 5:00 p.m. Monday.

Villarias said they arrested Rogelio Serafica Malde, 30, “Alias Jr. Agi,” of Purok Lubi, Barangay 3 and his cousin Pejay Villar Malde, 19, of Purok Tilapia, Barangay 3, Bacolod City.

Confiscated from them were; one elongated and one small sachets of suspected shabu and three open plastic sachets with shabu residue. Police operatives also recovered the P200 marked money from them.
