Police Seizes Firearm, Shabu in Raid

Police operatives seized firearm, bullets, suspected shabu and dried marijuana leaves in a raid at a house located in Barangay 3 Poblacion, Moises Padilla town, Negros Occidental around 9:49 p.m. Monday.

Senior Inspector Allan Reloj, Moises Padilla PNP chief identified the suspect as Jefe Letegio Baladhay, 34, married, resident of the place.

The raid was conducted through a search warrant issued by Judge Cyclamen Jison-Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch-63, La Carlota City dated August 3, 2017.

Seized was one homemade caliber .45 Colt MR Series 80; 33 live bullets of the same caliber; three stainless magazines; three heat sealed suspected shabu; three wrapped in tissue papers dried marijuana leaves; one Cherry Mobile cellphone and one empty shell of caliber 5.56 for Armalite rifle.

The suspect is detained at Moises Padilla PNP lock up cell and charged with violation of RA 10591 and RA 9165.*(CMG)
