Another special award was given to Bonbonon Farmers Agrarian Reform Multi-Purpose Cooperative for Credit and Micro-Finance Programs in Agrarian Reform Areas.

DAR-NIR Regional Director Stephen Leonidas said the awardees are progressive organizations having assets and showed exemplary management of their cooperatives.

He urged ARBOs to continue to pay their taxes and land amortization for the success the agrarian reform. If the program fails, they could also get the blame on the premise that the government elevated them from farm workers to empowered Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries.

They should give good account of the land and support the government has extended to them, he added.*(Ljjr-PIA6)
