PPSC- Regional Training Center Turns Over Donations for Marawi

The Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC)–Regional Training Center 6 and 18 turned over a total of P54,000 cash to the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental representing its donation to the victims in Marawi City.

PSupt. Vimellee Madrid, Regional Training Director personally met with Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. at the Capitol, yesterday.

The total amount was voluntarily contributed by the police trainees/students taking Basic Recruit and Mandatory Courses who are Negrenses and Ilonggos, and from the school’s personnel and staff.

The amount was acknowledged by the Negros Occ. Provincial Treasurer’s Office while the Negros Occ. Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office will facilitate the turn over of the said donation to Marawi City.

Gov. Marañon thanked the donors for showing their patriotism and compassion through the cash donations that will help the people of Marawi City.

He said that the province continues to accept donations for Marawi in the form of goods and cash and assured that it will be sent to the proper beneficiaries.*(Capitol)
