4 Drug Suspects Arrested in Victorias, Ilog
Four drug personalities were arrested in separate operations in Victorias City and Ilog town in Negros Occidental Tuesday.
Superintendent Herman Garbosa, Victorias City Police Chief identified the suspects in his area as Gerry Beronio Torrena, 31, single, resident of Wet Market, Barangay 19-A Canetown, Victorias City; Jelon Subiga Padonio, 28, single, of Pusan, Barangay 20; and Bernie Torena, 33, married, of Hacienda Sta. Cruz, Victorias City.
Garbosa said that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Victorias City PNP arrested the suspects at Angeles Street, Canetown Subdivision, Barangay 19-A, Victorias City.
Confiscated from them were three small sachets of suspected shabu including the buy bust item in exchange of P300 marked money; two (2) elongated heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and P200 cash believed proceeds from illegal drug sale and other drug paraphernalia.
They were detained and charged with violation of Section 5, 11, 12 and of Article 2 of RA 9165.
In Ilog town, the suspect was identified as Jade Botio Samodio, 18, single, of Purok Masagana, Barangay Tabu, Ilog town around 7:00 p.m. Monday.
Chief Inspector Nerito Lobrido discosed they confiscated one (1) small heat sealed, one medium heat sealed including a buy bust item in exchange of P500 marked money and other drug paraphernalia.
He is detained at Ilog PNP lock up cell.*
