Local News: CAIDSOTG Seizes ‘Shabu’ from Bacoleña

Several sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated from a Bacoleña during a raid, yesterday by operatives of the City Anti Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) in Brgy. Vista Alegre in Bacolod City.

PSInsp. Neil G. Exaltado, who led the CAIDSOTG recovered three elongated heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu from Jean Marie Cantero, alias Gaga, 25, of Sitio Progreso, Abada Escay, Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.

The operation was conducted by virtue of a search warrant with docket no. 51-12-02, issued and signed by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 51 Judge Anita G. Chua, 1st Assistant Vice Executive Judge.

However, Cantero’s live-in partner identified as Julymar Segurada alias "Nonoy", 26, also of the said was not around during the raid.

Also confiscated from her possession were three elongated heat sealed plastic sachets containing visible traces of suspected shabu.

She is presently detained at CAIDSOTG detention cell at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) headquarters while investigation is underway. She will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
