Local News; Gov. Marañon Turns Over Insurance to Brgy. Officials, Tanods
Fifteen beneficiaries of barangay officials and tanods from different cities and municipalities of the province received P680,000 worth of insurance coverage in a turnover ceremony held at the Governor’s Office, yesterday.

Under the Barangay Officials Insurance Program, Wilson and Ann Villarino and Mae Balulot, relatives of Barangay Treasurer Winiefredo Villarino of Brgy. Nanca, EB Magalona received P50,000; Ernesto, Herbert and Vanessa Tomazar, relatives of Elsa Tomazar of Brgy. Gargato, Hinigaran received P50,000; Rodilyn Castillo, widow of Kagawad Jeffrey Castillo of Brgy. IV, Himamaylan City received P50,000; Adonna Bilbar, widow of Kagawad Freddie Bilbar of Brgy. Binicuil, Kabankalan City also received P50,000 and Kagawad Leomar Sumido of Brgy. Sta. Rosa, Murcia received P5,000 representing his medical reimbursement.
Under the Barangay Tanod Insurance Program, Gemma Betita, widow of Tanod Nicanor Betita of Brgy. Damgo, EB Magalona received P50,000; Julieta and Jose Esparagoza, relatives of Rolly Esparagoza also received P50,000; Ellen Mae Garcel, widow of Nelson Garcel of Brgy. Sibucao, San Enrique also received P50,000. Thelma Palce and Florencia Candaso of barangays Caradio-an and Carabalan of Himamaylan City, also received P50,000 each. Sol Pediongola of Brgy. Camang-camang, Isabela received P50,000. Fely Montaño, widow of Franco Montaño of Brgy. Agboy, Candoni received P25,000; Marlene Rufano of Brgy. Elihan, Cauayan received P50,000; Ruth, Eva and Dailyn Flores, relatives of Norberto Flores of Brgy. Cabadiangan, Sipalay City received P50,000. Perla Tabuada, widow of tanod Edwin Tabuada of Brgy.
