Alyssa Marie covered the press conference of the Rafael Montinola Salas Library launching at the Negros Museum who had as guest former Senator Ramon Magsaysay and Salas widow,the charming Menchu Rodriguez Salas.

The Mass Communications student of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) is under the tutelage of ABS-CBN top reporter Yasmin Pascual-Dormido, long-time TV journalist and school professor, and already a veteran of many coverages in the province.

Alyssa Marie is on-the-job training under the Public Information Office (PIO) of the provincial government.

She also takes coverage notes and pictures as part of her on-the-job training.

Regular reporters opined that with Yasmin Pascual supervising her practical training as a journalist, she will turn out be a good one.* (EAC)
