Local News: Rape Suspect Collared

A rape suspect was arrested yesterday in a joint police operation led by elements of Police Station 5 (PS5) with Task Force Manhunt Charlie and Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPA-ABB) in Brgy. Alangilan, Bacolod City.

Reports said, Rudy Cabigo, 43, of Purok 6, Brgy. Alangilan was apprehended through a warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 41 Judge Ray Alan T. Drilon for the crime of rape in criminal case number 11-34712.

Cabigo was said to be Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) 19th most wanted person.

He was nabbed by PS5 head, PSInsp. Ritchie M. Gohee along with TF Manhunt Charlie PSupt. Alexander H. Ermeo and RPA-ABB headed by Ka Jommel Mendoza.

The suspect is presently detained at PS5 and will be turned over to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility.*
