Local News: More Info on Suspects in Arles Murder Case Bared
The suspects in the killing of RTC Judge Henry Arles may have also been involved in other criminal activities including robberies and hold-ups in Southern Negros, lawyer Frank Britanico said in a press conference yesterday at the 2nd floor of the Negros Press Club (NPC) building at downtown Bacolod City.
The commission of the actual murder and the mastermind or masterminds in the Arles killing will also be the agenda of the Arles and Britanico families, said the lawyer, who said he was also former political detainee during the President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Martial Law period.
Britanico said he received reports that the suspects held up a swine trader of P450,000 in cash but the alleged main hitman of the Kabankalan Judge Jesse Daguia got only P30,000 of the amount.
Their crusade for justice for JudgeArles will not only end with the conviction of the alleged assassins and the perceived mastermind or masterminds, but will include justice for all victims of injustices perpetrated by the breakaway group, said Britanico.
There are not only three but possibly three more suspects in the Arles killing, plus an additional witness who will reveal more information about the hit job primarily for money on his brother in law, the late Judge Arles, he said.*
