Whoever prevails in the semifinal matches last night will start their Best-of-3 series championship in the 1st PROBAC/LNA7 Basketball Invitational Tournament at the West Negros University gym.

Four teams are battling for top position last night with top favorite Toyota-Bacolod facing Watchmen Daily Journal in the first game, while No. 2 team Boston Finance is facing Sun Cellular in the second game.

Toyota-Bacolod is highly favored over WDJ whom they beat, 108-99 although WDJ turned to run and gun style to try to overpower Toyota-Bacolod. Toyota-Bacolod escaped Ink Creme in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals against WDJ last night.

Boston Finance and Sun Cellular are playing last night with both squads having deep bench and luck will only determine who will emerge the winner. In their last match, Boston emerged the winner in a close match, 95-94 with Yan Yan Dy topscoring with 22 points for Boston, while Mar Echarri tallied similar output for Sun Cellular.* (CMGarde)
