Local News: Shabu Seized in a Silay Drug Raid
Several sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated in a raid conducted, about 9:45AM, Friday by Silay City Police Station’s anti-illegal drugs-special operations task force at Brgy. Mambulac in the City.
PSInsp. Vanessa Gayle Dura-Sonoy along with SPO1 Rayjay Rebadomia, PO3 Joemarie Lachica and PO2s Reynaldo Bernil, Jr. and Ian Libo-on with Silay City Intelligence Group conducted a buy bust operation against Clark Mondragon alias Mot-mot, 27, and his live-in partner along Rizal St., Brgy. IV.
Mondragon, of Purok Ipil-ipil, Brgy. Mambulac was the subject of the operation for alleged violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Seized from his possession were; one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, two aluminum foils, one stainless knife, three live ammunitions of .38 caliber revolver, P300 marked bills used as buy bust money and P165.00 cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of shabu.
Both are presently detained and were subjected for laboratory examination, while criminal charges are being prepared to be filed against them.* (RRMalo-oy)
