The Negros Basketball Group lst Invitational Tournament spearheaded by President- Felipe Luciano, Vice-President- Jessie Boy Lentorio, Secretary- Jay Garcia, Assistant Secretary- Arvy Deopita, Treasurer- Jerome Songalla, Screening Committee- Julius Prietos, Bert Lagoting, Bert Pabon, Grievance Committee- Felipe Sandoval Opens with a big bang at the Regent Pearl Covered Court Friday.

Participating Teams include: 1. NBG- RKJ Bas-ketball Team, 2. NBG New China Basketball Team, 3. NBG Alvin Auto Supply Basketball Team 4. JAAG Express-GABBIEX Basket-ball Team 5.

Bacolod Salesmen Athletic Basketball Team BSAC-I 6. Bacolod Salesmen Athletic Basketball Team, BSAC-II 7. MGAD- Mary Grace Aguirre Dezusa Basketball Team 8. ASAC- Airport Singcang Athletic Club Basketball Team.

"This tournament was organized for the purpose of physical fitness, camaraderie and friendship and to win more friends,". We will have more teams to participate next year 2013. They have signi-fied their intentions and support already" NBG Pres-ident Felipe Luciano said".

Jessie Boy Lentorio- NBG Vice-President said, "we are very lucky that the Negros Basketball Group continues its advocacy on sports and education in order to maintain our physical health and to have more friends."

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC. The Pamamahayag will be held at 7PM on Monday January 9 and on Tuesday 10 at the Tangub chapel and in other locale chapels. Those interested to listen can just come and be guests.
