Events: NONHS Inventor is 2nd Placer in National Invention Tilt
A fresh graduate of the Negros Occidental National Science High School in Victorias City won second place in the National Invention Contest and Exhibits held recently at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The invention: Manually Operated Extruder Machine
Young inventor Ydsan Franz Dongon got the number two spot with his Manually Operated Extruder Machine: A prototype in Making Leaf Briquettes.
Dongon represented Western Visayas in the national tilt after topping the regional contest early this year.
Other than landing second in the Sibol Award for Creative Research - High School category, Dongon also received a special award from the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. as a second placer.
