Sports: Ala-Cobra Boxing features 56 Rounds of Fisticuff in Dumaguete Sunday

ALA Promotions and Cobra energy Drink "Tunay na Lakas" Energy Drink will feature 56 rounds of boxing bouts dubbed the ALA Cobra TunaynaLakas in the Negros Oriental beautiful seaside city of Dumaguete at the City’s Quadrangle starting at 6pm on Sunday.

A pair of 10, 8, 6 and 4 rounds was scheduled with most promising and well-known boxing and local talents.

RP promising professional boxer AJ Banal will be pitted against Ruben Manakane of Indonesia in the 8 rounds main event in the 122lbs division. While, Roma Rate of Mandaue City will clash against the local talent, Lyndel Radoc of Dumaguete City in the 110 lbs division.

A pair of 10-round bouts pitted Joseph Von Meñosa of Talamban, Cebu and RJ Ano-os of Liloan, Cebu in the 135 lbs super featherweight division; while Escalante City pride Melvin Gumban goes up against Aroel Romasasa of General Santos City in the 115 lbs division.

Reymund Tabogon of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental will face Lito Dante of Tagbilaran City in the 112 lbs division; and Pedro Balaba of Tagbilaran City and Christian Saga of Cebu City will battle in the 118 lbs division-all in 8 rounds.

The pair of 4 rounds fights will be between Rey Morales of Bacolod City and Ian Teves of Dumaguete City; and Rolando Lingaolingao of Wade Quezon, Bukidnon battles Steven Recarborda of Dumaguete City- all in 112 lbs division.

For the past years now ALA Promotions and Cobra TunaynaLakas Energy Drink has partnered in showcasing action packed boxing match-ups around the Philippines.

The ALA-Cobra boxing program has been established for years and has developed a following around cities in the Visayas and Mindanao filling up venues whenever the tour makes a stop.
