In Victorias City, the activity was held in the coastal purok of Villa Miranda, Barangay VI-A led by Vice Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca and Punong Barangay Jose Dignadice, where mangrove seedlings were planted along the coastline.
In E. B. Magalona, the site was in the E.B. Magalona Elementary School with the support of Mayor David Lacson and principal Angeles Verde-prado. Acacia seedlings were provided by the municipal environment office.
Barangay E. Lopez was the site in Silay City and the activity was fully supported by Mayor Jose Montelibano and ABC president Joedith Gallego. Talisay Mayor Dr. Eric Saratan supported the activity in Barangay Dos Hermanas Demo Farm with the assistance of Punong Barangay Fernando Dolendo. In Murcia, spearheaded by Mayor Andrew Montelibano, the activity was held at the grounds of the Lopez Jaena National High School together with principal Nelly Gorrote.
The National Greening Program embodied in Executive Order No. 26 with DENR as the lead implementor, advocates that each Filipino citizen plants ten (10) seedlings every year. This year’s theme is "Alay ng Kapatiran sa Inang Kalikasan".*
