Local News: Jewel May Cries ‘Unfair’ at Loss of Two Sons to Koko

First it was a mere dispossession of Starex vehicle servicing their two young boys and eventually her own service car but as of last night, Jewel May Lobaton is grieving that her two sons who were "borrowed" by her husband Senator Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III last Thursday, will not be returned to her embrace as a mother.

Lobaton, a former beauty queen from Bacolod , likewise spoke of the great loss of privacy when the Senator himself publicly announced their marital separation despite her discouragement and protection of his candidacy.

This resulted in fact to the malicious link to Congressman Anthony Golez which was fabricated, according to Broadcaster Franklin Villan-ueva of a team created by Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonar-dia clandestinely operating as detective to all movements of Ms. Lobaton.

Villanueva said Lobaton and Golez’ acquaintance dated back one year ago when they stood as godparents to his child.

She spoke last night to both this author and Villanueva, already a close friend way back in the 80s and recently was baptismal "Kumare", with this reporter, as there are no one else to cry "unfair" for her two boys Aquilino the Sixth (eight years old) and Aquilino the Seventh (two years old), now deprived of a mother.

For more than a week now, Lobaton pleaded for her two young sons who were committed to the care of his in-laws and not by Pimentel himself which added burden to and heavy longing of a mother.

Deep prayer retreat, she said, is her only means of resisting the temptation to speak loads of bad words against her estranged Senator-husband who appeared to be happier with Leonardia whom she suspected to be "the whisperer."

Lobaton will not dwell further on the Leonardia-Pi-mentel intimacy, "I am in prayer now and strong enough to forgive them."

Villanueva as a long-time friend of lobaton said that Pimentel has a ‘finance chief’ who was the father-surrogate of their children’s needs especially when their relationship turned awry.

As a wife, Lobaton told Villanueva that she expected her husband should have a personal hand in the care of the two boys but the former was consistent when asked, "I respected their closeness which already exists since we got married."

"I cried for the loss of my two young boys. I am at peace after the public announcement of our separation, I am unaffected by rumors and couldn’t care less by the partnership of Bing and Koko," she calmly spoke through the mobile phone.

"I have made Koko known to the Negrenses and accepted not a speck of ‘thank you’ from him but now, I vow to campaign for Tito Newks Puentevella who helped campaign for Koko." Lobaton also said.

"Koko should not have allied with Bing. Tito Newks is a close friend and who had helped Koko. I’m hoping that Cong Golez and Tito Newks seal their partnership and I will campaign for both of them," she added.*
