The LA SALLE-ATENEO rivalry is set to happen at the golf course of the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club when the 11th edition of the Cebu Golf Classic tees off tomorrow, July 6.

The Green Archers are the host this year and in cooperation with the Blue Eagles have agreed to take the tournament to Bacolod City after staging the first 10 events in Cebu. So far, La Salle has won only once against Ateneo and is hopeful that the change in venue will increase its chances this year.

"Hopefully with the tournament being held in Bacolod, we can win this one. The rivalry is there but the friendship is even stronger," said Dave Karamihan, One La Salle Cebu Alumni President, who added that we are also introducing the theme for the event which is "Green or Blue, It Is Our Time to Shine Together."

There will be five divisions that will be played namely, Divisions A, B, C, Open and Sponsors. The Tournament also features a shot-gun start July 6 after the ceremonial tee off at 930am tommorow, Friday. This event is brought to you by SkyGO Motorcycles, DLSAA, Megavia, Primary Homes, D+B Wines, Boracay Getaway Tour, VM Security, Trinity Forest Memorial Park, Cliptec, LSGH Batch 71, Team Nfyneat, Julies Bakeshop, Landtraders World Properties, Quest Hotel, Victoria Court, Bohol Beach Club, Plantation Bay Resort.*
