Local News: Cops Hunt 3 Suspects for Killing a Farmer

Moises Padilla policemen are conducting manhunt operation to arrest the suspects in the killing of a farmer, early Monday morning while on his way home.

Reports said, Roberto Mamilla alias Apid, alias Ngel Ngel Mamilla and Amy Mamilla, all of Brgy. Guinpana-an, Moises Padilla fled the crime scene after hacking 58-year old Ereneo Tulabing alias Erning early morning of June 25.

Investigation added that Tulabing was on his way home when waylaid by the suspects and was hacked several times on the body resulting to his death.

Police authorities are now making inquiries to determine the location of the suspects.

Moreover, Herminio Montaño, 54, of Brgy. Mahalang, Himamaylan City was apprehended for the crime of attempted homicide about 4AM, Monday.

The arrest of Montaño was effected by SPO1 Lemuel Apalacio with PO3 John Derrick Capunong through a warrant issued by Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC)-Himamaylan City Judge Cyclamen J. Fernandez on June 21, 2012.

A bail bond of P12, 000 was set for his temporary release. Montaño is presently detained for failure to post bail.* (RRM)
